This is my short review of Arcadian Homes and Jimmy Morrow. A homebuilder in North Texas. After going through the process of Arcadian building our home there is only one thing that I can say… "Jimmy Morrow has a very nice Hawaiian shirt collection" That is the best I can do here…
Ours is a nice looking house from a distance… But don't be fooled by it's looks…
Our home is only 3 years old…

- I know, I know… I should have checked out the builder before I built my house. OK… OK…
- But since I didn't, it doesn't mean that you have to make the same mistake I did…

Since building my home, what I have found is that Arcadian Homes Reviews are mixed at best…
Personally, I would NEVER use Arcadian Homes again… I would however be happy to share my experience about Arcadian Homes and Jimmy Morrow with you. Just use the contact page to send me an email. The most important thing was that Jimmy Morrow wasn't on the job site long enough to have any idea what was going on… He just relied on others that didn't seem to care… Many times when I would visit the job after work (in the dead of winter) it would be pitch dark and Jimmy's subs would be working in the dark with flashlights… Yes, I said "Building my house in the dark with flashlights" laying tile, painting, installing the wood floors etc. From my point of view, Jimmy Morrow uses the lowest priced subs and materials. He knows nothing about Quality. The word isn't in his vocabulary… I can only address my home and my experience with Arcadian Homes and Jimmy Morrow.

Our Driveway has been failing from day one… Now only 3 years old… This is the kind of quality Jimmy Morrow passes along to his customers with a smile. In our case, Jimmy will be replacing the driveway before this is over…

Two people doing a 10 person job - Improper prep and installation by workers that had no idea how to do the work…
Jimmy Morrow and his employees LIED to me (and my wife) many times, face to face… Nothing but promises. Jimmy himself along with two superintendence said they would be back to make repairs, many times, but never did… On one occasion Jimmy came to my house at my request, dressed in his Hawaiian shirt, and went over my list with me and he agreed that my concerns were legitimate and promised to make repairs as necessary. One appointment I had to cancel due to my work but all other appointments we made then broken by them. For over 2 years now… Now they tell me to file with the home insurance which is a joke. The insurance only covers big structural items. My problems aren't structural things… Just things that never got done right from the start… Many repair items I have completed myself or paid others to do… The list is too long to go into here but I will be adding more content and photos for you to see as time allows… Arcadian Homes work quality is sloppy and Service after the sale was nonexistent from day one.
There is nothing seriously, structurally wrong with my home (I hope), Unless you count the driveway that is… Just many, many points of poor quality and poor workmanship. Most repairs are relatively small items while others are more extensive repairs… My only guess is that after the 2008 bust in home building, Jimmy came back in 2012-2013 without any Quality sub-contractors to choose from… These are the ones that he used to built my house… His superintendent really didn't care either. Nobody else spoke english… I doubt that Jimmy has had a hammer in his hands for many years. But He Does Have A Very Nice Hawaiian Shirt Collection! Those are the kindest words I can come up with…
Don't get me wrong… I would buy my house again now that I have made most of the repairs that Jimmy Morrow and his agents promised they would make… When I go to sell this house I will most likely have to sell for less due to the items I haven't fixed myself that Arcadian Homes should have followed up on. I just have a real problem when dealing with people like Jimmy Morrow that don't tell the truth… In short, Jimmy Morrow is a Liar…
